VASA The King's Ship by Commander Bengt Ohrelius. This book is a leather bound hard cover collector's edition from Easton Press, copyright 1991. Originally copyrighted in 1959 and 1962.
Comes with collector's notes card and ribbon page marker. Pages are gold gilted. According to the card, VASA was a 17th century warship the sank mysteriously in Stockholm harbor on her maiden voyage in 1628. She was raised on April 24, 1961.
The book is in excellent condition, having the feeling it has never been opened or read. There is a bookplate in the front from the previous owner and a bit of writing in pencil on that same page in the upper right corner.
