This is an interesting, unique antique The World's Globe Circler Nellie Bly with Jules Verne game. Bly was famous for her record breaking trip around the world in 72 days.
However, it is NOT a folding game board that has been mounted. It is a flat print, with no middle crease, that has been mounted to a floral paper covered board, which was then mounted to a frame leaving two compartments on each side, for playing pieces, and then finished with a backing. We don't know if this was a display/advertising piece for the game, was handmade by someone with access to a print of the game, or was sold this way.
Measures 15.75" x 19.25" x 1.5".
The board playing surface has slight warping to it. Many small nails are missing from the back, allowing it to lift completely up as shown. The front is also missing some nails, mainly on the right side, that hold the playing surface onto the frame. There is adhesive tape residue, torn floral paper and general other age, wear and use signs. Please see all photos.
