It is the story of sawmill operator Maurice G. Hitchcock from Sisters, Oregon and later White Swan, Washington. The cover photo was done by the well known Ken Whitmire, and the pen and ink art in the book by Clint Ellett from Idaho.
The book is in nice shape, with some minor signs of moisture, mostly evident on the dust jacket with some warping.
