An antique, around 1900, embroidered, dyed Ye Old Dutch Smoker pillow cover featuring a man sitting at a table with a pipe in one hand with smoke curling out of it and above him, and holding a stein in his other hand. Some of the outline of the design is stitched and the rest is colored. There is a 3.5" slit in the back middle. The background is beige colored.
Measures about 18" across and 19.5" long in the direction of the words.
The open end is unfinished. The other three edges have varying amounts of fraying and coming unstitched. Stains and discoloration can be seen in various places. Please see all photos.
