Mies Van Der Rohe Book, Museum of Modern Art, 1947 HB/DJ 1st Ed. Mid Century Furniture House Design

The Museum of Modern Art, New York, 1947. Hardcover book titled, "Mies van der Rohe", by Philip C. Johnson. First edition. The book measures 7.75" x 10.25", and inside front flap reads 208 pages / 190 Plates.

It's illustrated throughout with black and white photographic reproductions and drawings with its original dust jacket in fair condition. Soiling, fading, and wear to the jacket, with large chips at the spine and front panel edges, back has large tear down center with tears at top. The original price of $7.50 is present on the front flap. The book is in very good condition.One page has at fold at edge, see 4th picture 3rd image. The boards are well preserved with a small piece of clear tape on both front and back inside where the dust jacket was taped down, (see last picture 2nd image). And boards may slightly arch, (see last picture, 1st image). The contents are very clean and bright with a tight binding.
