A nice lot of vintage 1940s Boy Scout Explorers uniform shirts, pair of pants, plus merit badges, sash and camp patches from Troop 29 in Yakima, Washington. There are three shirts total; one long sleeve and two short sleeve. All three have identical patches except the long sleeve shirt has Yakima Wash on the upper left sleeve but the two short sleeve only have Wash.
Some of the patches include:
National Gamboree in Valley Forge - 1950 - One on each shirt.
Camp Fife 1947
CWC 1948
1948 Boy Scout Camp
BSA Summer Camp 1949
18 Merit Badges
4 Pins
Please see all photos.
These all belonged to the same person, who as we were told was only one merit badge from being an Eagle Scout, needing the swimming badge but he couldn't swim.
Everything is in good shape except for needing a cleaning and smelling of moth balls from years of storage.
